Bishop W. Christopher King is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God (Cleveland, TN), where he has dedicated his life to faithfully serving Christ and His Church. His ministry is marked by a passion for sound biblical teaching, Spirit-empowered preaching, and equipping the body of Christ to stand firm upon the Word of God in a world of competing philosophies and false ideologies.

Bishop King holds an Associate of Science in Construction Technology, a Bachelor of Science in Religion with concentration in Biblical and Theological Studies, a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and will be beginning his Doctorate of Ministry (DMin) in September 2026. This combination of practical experience, theological training, and ongoing graduate-level study has shaped his ability to connect with both the academic and pastoral dimensions of ministry.

He married his high school sweetheart 16 years ago and he has five children: Aluxia (18), Emma (18), Bethany (15), Marissa (13), and Isaac (10). He is a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force where he served as a Civil Engineer.  He has served as on the Presidential Honor Guard in Washington DC and is a combat veteran of Afghanistan and is a 5-time military award winner and the Lance P. Sijan Leadership award nominee for 2024. He is also a published author of 9 books including his most recent: “If You want Peace, Prepare for War (Understanding Spiritual Warfare).”

Throughout his ministry, Bishop King has been dedicated to discipleship, apologetics, and biblical exegesis. He has written and taught extensively on Christian doctrine and the contrast between biblical truth and false religions. His pastoral heart compels him not only to defend the faith but to shepherd believers in applying truth to daily life, encouraging them to live as faithful witnesses in their families, workplaces, and communities.
